Introduction

On this page are the funeral videos I created. The purpose of these videos to observe the gathering of people who share the memory of the individual they knew and loved. Capture a glimpse of the people who come from all around to respect the memory of the individual who had a connection with them. Record the people who have a chance to speak their thoughts and recount the history of the individual. And create a compelling montage that reveals the connection between the individual and the people, whether it’s profound or unimportant.

Backstory

My goal is to be a respectable friend who is glad to participate in the ceremony of remembering and grieving our loved ones. I want to help capture it on camera in order for others to claim the video as memorabilia for the remainder of their lives. The first funeral video I ever made was when my father died because he meant so much to me and my family, some of his friends couldn’t care to come to the funeral and I wanted to create something to remember him by. My second funeral video was for my maternal great aunt because my mother was away on business, all of my great aunt’s children got together to grieve and remember her memory and I got to meet a greater family that I barely knew myself.
